Based on the work of the painter Franz Radziwill (1895-1983), the exhibition at Kunsthalle Emden, curated by Stefan Borchardt, focused on artistic positions in relation to the ambivalent possibilities, appearances and effects of technology. It showed works by Heiner Altmeppen, Bernd and Hilla Becher, Angelika Böck, Edward Burtynsky, Sven Drühl, Harun Farocki, Jesper Just, Eduardo Kac, Lynn Hershman Leeson, Lohner & Carlson, Sabine Moritz, Nam June Paik, Wolfgang Petrick, Alexandra Ranner, Gerhard Richter, Robert Schneider, HA Schult, Ann-Sofi Sidén, K. R.H. Sonderborg, Martin Spengler, Wolfgang Stähle, Stelarc, Wolf Vostell and Maik Wolf.
